Everything is brighter in the summers. The leaves are greener, the air is warm, the birds are out, everyone is out. Splash pads, pools, balconies, gardens.

The flowers are a riot (especially in Boston). It still astonishes me every year. Berries. Mangoes. Aperol spritzes. The world is humming with joy.
